7.3 Home and Home Office Solutions

These utilities are oriented towards the home or home-office user. In other words, you want to find a solution that does not require an information technology (IT) department to support it. These can be used to automate the shutdown and/or startup of individual machines. However, they do not provide centralized power management features that are key elements in the first two categories.
